hello, i want to play GTA Online but when i try to backup my mods and launch my game i have a error that say i need to reinstall the game. So i always need to verify my files in Steam to play again after i did a backup of my mods. can someone help me please ? thanks

The main problem here is there are file which need to be deleted to let this method work. Sadly on my tests that way was the only working way so i added it

I will test it again to see if its deleting something else because the game had a update when im not wrong

Nothing 😉 Im installing gta enhanced on steam now to look for files that maybe was added on last update
I have the legacy version, not the enhanced. It’s the same files ?

Ok current status is that it works and no new files was added. Maybe the rockstar launcher which is starting when you start the game from steam also checks the way rockstar launcher does when standalone. But it seems like you sadly have to check your files when removing the mods
